What does it mean to be healthy? How do we take care of our health, and how do we contribute to the health of our communities? The “HealthistheNewBlack” story campaign, a partnership between BABUF and Story For All (www.storyforall.org), will uplift the voices and images of a diverse range of people in the Bay Area black community to present a positive editorial and pictoral health promotion campaign that reflects the needs, wisdom and personalities of the community it serves.
Interviews will be conducted with a diverse range of BABUF community members and photographs will be captured with each interviewee with the aim of sharing them with the community to build awareness around the campaign.
